Automobile collisions can be life-changing. Because cars are vast machines, even a simple crash could result in serious consequences. As a victim of a car accident, you may face harms that severely affect your life or the life of a loved one. Unfortunately, car crashes happen all of the time.
Recently, a Florida collision occurred that had a fatal result. Sources report that a Chevy truck was making a left-hand turn onto Northeast 36th Avenue. At the same time, a Nissan was heading north on Northeast 36th Avenue when its left side hit the right front corner of the pickup. This caused the car to slide across the road.
Due to the impact, the car slid into a telephone utility box, turned over and slammed into a tree. The tree broke in half and landed on top of the car. The Nissan had a man and woman inside. Rescue teams extracted the woman from the car; however, she died at the scene. The man was also lifted out of the car, and he was sent to a local hospital in stable condition.
While an investigation continues, police suspect that speed and alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the crash. If this is the case, the collision would be the result of a negligent or inattentive motorist. This story is an example of how careless driving can end in serious injuries or death.
If you are a victim of an injurious car accident, you may have a potential personal injury claim. Furthermore, if you have lost a loved one as a result of another's negligence, you may have a wrongful death case. Even if you are not sure about your potential claim, you can always contact a lawyer with any questions about recovery.
